Researcher & Professor
'Everyone who was not incapacitated with regard to virtue could attain it through some kind of learning and personal effort.'
Aristotle
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus Law School working on the Vici Project: 'Towards sustainable cost and funding mechanisms for civil litigation in Europe' financed by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).
My research focuses on the shift from public to private funding of civil litigation in the form of third-party funding (TPF) or crowdfunding. I particularly take into consideration the public interest litigation experiences and their impact on access to justice and the enforceability of human rights.
More information about the project can be found in the following link: Vici Project - NWO
